petg insurance not valid
5 Answers
HI
I bought a gorgeous puppy abut unfortunatly we lost her 6 days later due to an accident.
I rang insurance as we had a months free from the breeder, they had not received details so i rang the breeder who had forgoten to send my details to pet plan, so the insurance is not valid.
Breeder has offered for 200, paid 450 for first but anyway we dont want another right now.
He said we would have had to pay 200 pounds excess, rang pet plan who said most excess is normall 60 - 90 pounds.
Any replies much apreciated,

Death benefit from accident is different with each policy, and perhaps you could check Pet Plan web site for details of their policies. I pay £80 excess for illness cover with Pet Plan, and I can only assume Death benefit is the same.
Whilst I can empathise with your situation, the breeder has unfortunately made a mistake, and it may be wise to take the £200 they have offered in the circumstances, as doubt you could pursue the matter any further anyway.
