Puppy

My one year old staffy puppy appears to like me (maybe even a bit too much!). When she sees me wether it's because she hasn't seen me for so long or because were playing a game she has a tendancy to hump me. This isn't a problem with other members of the family but with me it happens several times a day. This is my first bitch so am unsure of what maybe happening.

Dogs will sexually mount other animals and/or people to show that they are in a socially higher position within the pack, and it is a dominance issue.

hello it is a pack issue people tend to forget dogs are pack animals before man domesticated them. you must push her off you and tell her off gentily no physical tapping and she will get the message always reward good behaviour not always with treats patting /playing with her fav toy etc
enjoy your puppy as they dont stay small for long
