Well we finally had to let him go:-( posted on here about a month ago about our old cat, was overwhelmed by the good wishes, he held out a lot longer than we expected, but quality of life went downhill suddenly in the last two days, so in a way was an easyish decision, still not struck home yet, guess that will come when we bury him tomorrow:-(

Sorry to hear about Poor Old Puss. Very sad when we lose our pets. Just think of him lolloping around cat heaven and sprawling in the eternal sunshine.
Very sad but you will have such good memories, cling to those ♥

Hi Jan, on one of my infrequent forays on here, how are you?
Sorry to read your sad news. Our pets become a part of us, it's so hard when we have to let go. I'm sure you have many happy memories of him. Thinking of you, Wendyxx
Sad news. I watched one of the zoo programmes earlier this week, and a white tiger had to be put to sleep as she had a tumour that could not be treated. The two adult male keepers were absolutely choked up talking about her, and they kept stroking her after she had gone. So its not just us 'pet' owners who feel the loss of one of our babies.
hugs to you slinky its awful when we have to let them go
I remember your post slinkycat. Am really sorry - but you have given him a good life. Best wishes x
Slinky, so sorry to hear, but you have done the right thing. Thinking of you.
So sorry to hear your sad news.....but he was loved and cared for and you did the right thing by him and that's what counts.
