Gone for good?

I don't mean the flouncers ...... Can you think of any one-time regulars who appear to have gone for good?

There was Gelda, Ethel and Whiffey. Whiffey, sadly deceased, and I think Ethel and Gelda are too [:o(

And there was Paraffin, who had a big fall-out with another ABer.
Mamjet ... His missus had a baby so he was too busy for AB (but he got banned anyway).
And of course, the unforgettable Village Vicar.

Anyone else?

Have only been a Member of AB since about 14 months or so, and the names you mention are not familiar to me. Users seem to come and go all the time......

They do, red. But in the early days of CB, they seemed to stick around a lot longer.

Naomi, I did try to find out for certain, but gave up. Ethel and I used to keep in touch via Skype. She was a very poorly lady, getting on a bit (70+) and her ailments were getting more severe. I worried about her, being a lady living on her own, and mentioned this to her on more than one occasion.

Her contact stopped abruptly and I don't think she would have just left it like that. I hope one day she (or someone else) might prove me wrong, but to be honest I doubt it very much. [:o(

lots of people have come and gone, the only one I really miss is whiffey, a lot of good friends from here are now on FB, the rest Im sure will pop back now and then.

I used to like janbug and lilibet. I think one left because someone started playing round with photos of her and the other became a spy so didn't have time to post any more. Also Indysinger, who used to give the sort of useful technical advice that people like Chuck do now. I think he went to live in a village without broadband.
