If you bring a dog inside and keeps its lead (one of those pastic-cased adjustable ones) on' which is placed on the floor (so the dog could quite easily drag it along if they wanted), is it normal for the dog to act as if it is anchored to the floor and can abrely move whilst still attached to it?
I would walk Molly myself before I went to school and when I got back. Sorry if this comes across wrong, but your mother doesnt sound very responsible if she cant even be bothered to remove the lead.
She hardly ever walks her Jules. And in the example I gave, I didn't have time to.
No she can't get to her bowl if left like this, it's in the utility room. But TBH she only very occaisionaly drinks after she's had a walk and thats normally after i've taken her to the river which mum never does.
