oh, that is so cute. Makes Sussex sound almost interesting.

Life isn't all modernist nappies, you know.
'He moves about and kicks his legs and arms out.'

Seems like a natural to me.
The blog underneath says there's an even younger one near you, JJ...!

It's OK as long as they are only a mascot, it does look cute.
One could argue that he's just upholding a tradition ... that doesn't necessarily make it right thought, lol.
Question Author
"Cute" in a sort of ...

... "someone should tell the Social Services" ... kind of way.
Question Author
Exactly, Naz ...

"Upholding a tradition" ... like, say ... devil worship, or bear baiting.
Book him for Brighton's next Home game JJ ! Good for the half Time entertainment ! ;-))
Question Author
redman ...

I'd rather support Crystal Palace !!!!!!!!!!
Question Author
(okay, that's not true!)
Up until a couple of years ago I'd have agreed with you wholeheartedly, but I've got to know a local morris side quite well this year and I've had my opinions of them changed somewhat.

Perhaps it's a little OTT but there's nothing wrong with involving youngsters in morris. There are far worse things they could encourage him to do.
Question Author
"There are far worse things they could encourage him to do."

1. Marry his sister.

2. Err ...

3. ... that's it.
Question Author
Mind you, if he takes up Morris Dancing, he'll probably end up marrying his sister as well !
I like Morris dancing, we don't seem to do it in Kent (someone is sure to tell me now that we do...)
Question Author
Then Kent is an oasis of sanity !
And all of AB decides to move to kent :)
Please, the door is open (several ABers are here already!) Chuck, do you not have a natty Morris outfit in your wardrobe already...?
Jayne, they don't marry their sisters, but they often marry each others' sisters. My friend's sister is engaged to his best man.

Young lads don't know enough about it, I'm sure, or they'd be in there like a shot. Where else do you get to join a men-only club, take swipes at each other with thumping great sticks and chase girls around a pub garden, then retiring into the pub for a pint of rea ale before making your way to the next pub to do it all over again.

It's not all hankies and bells, I can tell you that.
Question Author
Does Chuck have a Morris outfit in his wardrobe ?

OMG ... I so hope not !!
Yes they do boxtops - checkout the folk week in Broadstairs.

As a teenager I was subjected to being dragged to morris dancing events on a double decker bus - I have never recovered or forgiven said family members.
This child needs help now.
Question Author
Okay, it's not ALL hankies and bells, but ...

I can't envisage myself going out with a guy who DID have hankies and bells.

I'm in the pub with the pals, and my BF walks in from the beer garden, dressed like ...

NOOOOOOO ... that is just too wrong !
