ours have disappeared ... think they got fed up with the wet weather and headed south early this year.

No rowan, ours had gone by the beginning of August, far too wet - normally we have them until around 12 September.

Thought of you and Red when I was reading the Record yesterday. A pure white blue tit has been spotted on the Isle of Mull.

I miss them I loved watching them from the balcony of my flat they were often at eye level or lower and it was a great way to see them. However we still have loads of house martins all six nests on the top floor had a successful fledging

Our swifts have gone but we still have house martins. I haven't seen one swallow this summer.

Just watching ours all gathering on the wires and getting ready to go, setting their satnavs or whatever it is they do. Always makes me feel a bit sad really.

Ours left early..I'm sorry too when they've gone knowing there's a long winter to get through before they come back.

One or two still flying round my local park, but I know they'll all be gone soon - quite sad.
