With the driest September on record,I think they'l find it harder to find plump juicy berries the winter.
Might bring them further into towns? I hope so....one thing to look forward to in winter...x
Chip, the hedgerows are full of berries here. I have never seen so many, hips, haws, hazlenuts etc, etc.

Do birds eat hops? There are loads of hops.
Don't know, Tilly but they go well in a drop of ale :)
I think we saw a Fieldfare today. Didn't have the bins with us, so not too sure.
....I love the smell of hops.

I get spent hops to put ont allotment, they stink the car out. I gerrem for nowt as well:-)
