Had a great walk yesterday evening in the Peak District. Species noted were; curlew, lapwing, roding woodcock, oyster catcher, a brief glimpse of a long eared owl and to cap a good evenings walk.... a pair of night jars churring and displaying:-)

I thought that Crepuscular walk was something to do with pub crawls. You live and learn!

Isn't that a crapulent walk?
Just a walk at twilight and all that nature...oh to be in the Peak District once again.
How lovely. Where were you?

Tilly. It was a walk with my local bird group & we went to the moors around Redmires reservoir.
Some great sightings there Melv, I'm particularly envious about the night jars, as I've only seen one once, so far.
