Cute.
looked in three times now but have not been lucky enough to see an adult bird, just the two chicks...so far.
Thanks Melv
I did not tell you off! I merely pointed out that it was not a football game.

Thanks for the link, Melv.
Much more lively today and so is the wind.
Did you see them being fed just now, Chip?
No Tilly, I've been looking 2-3 times a day but keep missing the feeding time :-(
Keep looking in, Chip. Beautiful birds they are. Last year, the chicks were taken by a Sparrowhawk.
Question Author
Tilly. It was a Goshawk that took the chick. There's a film of it on the site.
Gos, Sparrow.....Sorry, got confused. Touché

Have you read, H is for Hawk, Melv?
Question Author
I haven't read that, tilly. I'll give it a look-see, though.
If you like good literature and birds, Melv, you will love it as much as I did.
I hope you give it a try. It's worth buying just for the cover. :-)
Chip, quick! Feeding time.
Aw! Too late.
Question Author
Both chicks are getting their flight feathers. They're looking very tatty:)
Melv, the camera keeps going off. It's very unreliable isn't it?
Question Author
Not a very good site for camera reliability, tilly. They're even worse at keeping their information up to date on other nest sites. I've asked for info on the 2 goshawk nests, but they couldn't be ar$ed to answer.
I do worry about those Hobby chicks. I hate to look in case the Goshawk comes back.

Are they safe from predation yet, do you think?

camera not working! :o(
Question Author
Goshawks can take large game birds such as pheasants, so in a word, no. They can also be on the menu of buzzards. Keep fretting ,tilly:-)

The cam at Loch Garten is still working .. they still have daylight.
Cant see any Ospreys though ?
