just had knock on door and a wee party from local council with tidings...
..apparently I have won a best garden in local comp..did not even know I was in it !! neighbour nominated me and judges came round last week some time..thank goodness I had done my potting up , planting and cut grass...never mind my knicks on the birly !!! neighbour often lets herself in to show folks so not sure when it all took place..but well pleased..humble humble thanks..takes bow...

I am quite overwhelmed..my neighbour keeps bringing folk to see so it is really her fault ! lol...my garden is my escape from life and the last few years i have well needed that.... but it is nice that others have noticed and been impressed..have been asked to open garden but in a cul de sac and would not be fair to neighbours....parking etc...but what a nice day this has become..Titchmarsh eat yer heart oot !

Just having a big shake up in my own garden almost finished the bit that's designed to attract the little birdies like blue tits. So I can see them from the window whilst sat on my backside.

i have lots of flutterby bees etc attractive plants right now, clematis is out..yellow ,white and pink..purple acer ..yellow acer..spurge..pieris .magnolia in purple and cream....rhodo azalea..lots going on...

Usually the council come round to me saying for pete,s sake tidy that jungle up .Who Pete I ask ,he your neighbour and it not a pleasant for him he says here's me ,well if he doing nowt he could tidy it up to be honest it sickening me self
