This morning, from the window, I Was delighted to see a white throat.
Common or lesser, I'm not sure though.

I love our garden birds. We've got some goldfinches and a woodpecker at present, and all the usual coaltits, bluetits. Last year there were HUNDREDS of goldfinches, not so many this year; not yet anyway. we also had a little nuthatch for a short time but no sign of one this year.

We've had 4 or 5 sparrows' nests in the eaves of our garage, so it's been great fun watching all the feeding and fledging.

Disappointingly, we put up a wooden birdhouse only to have the wasps build a nest in it!
Lovely song as well Chip. Would think Common, as the Lesser is very hard to spot and quite shy. We have woodland out the back and see the Common fairly regularly but have not seen the Lesser.
you are lucky all I seem to get are starlings and wood pigeons and the occasional sparrow .
Wasps have a place too. They might attract flycatchers ,
