What are you then? I thought that birdwatchers were twitchers.
My Avatar, Frankie, is in the furry Ornithologists club. My flat has an upper attic Extention with a metal roof over the bathroom. In the mornings the noise of birds running over the roof is a pain but not as annoying as Frankie sitting under one of the skylights watching the birdies. I am sure that they know he is no threat to them as they taunt him.☺☺
Thanks, mamya. Some twitchers and photographers are becoming a menace. They have no thought about the bird or property they're trespassing on. Some have had to be warned on my local patch about disturbing ring ouzels when they're nesting.
Wolf. They're usually men who'll travel the length of the country to see a bird, so they can tick it off on their list. They have life lists, year lists and local patch lists.
Sounds like a good day out and money well spent, for those keen on wildlife watching. Spotting a rare bird is a bonus and I hope it doesn't get disturbed.
