Loppers

Can any one advise on a choice of lopper- I need something strong enough to cut out a few roots- maximum 2" diameter

The trees that they belong to have already been cut down and the stumps grubbed up

Nice sharp axe or mattock will do the trick in no time. Dont ruin a pair of loppers cutting thru thick roots covered in soil.

If you still want loppers I bought some really powerful extending ones from Poundstretcher for about �5 last year.
