Microsoft e-mails

i thought I had a problem with TalkTalk e-mails but I can get into my webmail inbox (thanks Smocky). The problem is they're not transferring over into the Microsoft e-mail box. I can send e-mails from there but not receive them. When I open that programme I'm asked to enter my username and password, which I've done from the notes I kept when I got broadband from TalkTalk - I don't recall and have no notes of a username and password for Microsoft. Has anyone come across this, and can you help me please?

The username and password you put in will be the same as the ones that work on the talk talk website.

Thanks Chuck, but they don't work. I've tried them many times, the message just repeats as if it's the wrong answer.
