Hi Ed
I have tried twice to submit an answer to the post 'Naming & Shaming' & both times I have clicked Submit without a result, the following is my answer to the post:-
Would it be possible for a crime folder to be opened in the list of Topics whereby anyone committing a breach of the A/B rules would have their name & their misdemeanor published for a predetimined time to show to us all who these people are, their details could remain on view for perhaps 1 month. Ron.

oh can we see the lash marks too, Ron (lol) - Is this really necessary is my more serious point. What would the benefit be - and should every infringement be listed, especially when the Mods make an unfair decision.

I would prefer to see some court of appeal if a change was to be made.
I don't understand what is going on. I posted the thread on Thursday or Friday and thought it had died a death. Why has it been closed?
Because Ed said 'no' to the suggestion...
well there we are, go and rinse hands and back to typing something else - or prepare for the pub quiz later.
But but but, can it not still be debated? When I posted it, it wasn't a "demand", just a suggestion.
Ed closed it.....don't know why!!
the ed closed it because it was going around in circles
Bit like this one really.............
yes, if this thread closes, will its demise spawn another "naming and shaming" thread?
I have an opinion but I am not sharing it
5 to one on, yes
the Ed could set up a file with the names of those that do create such a thread (and then have it removed from gneral circulation).
Thanks ummmm for having identified the Ron concerned. Perhaps when the whiskery one is involved I should sign off as Ronald( I dislike my full name.)

I know we are not supposed to digress from the actual question. However I think folk may appreciate the following, regarding names.

When I worked for a national company in London I had a boss who if in the Chair at a meeting would address me as Ron( very friendly) Ronald( ok. if you must speak.) and I knew he wasn't one bit interested in my contributions if he said " Yes Ronnie."

Oops ...I could now have folks responding to me as Ronnie.:-)

Ron.
good evening ronnie :)
Good evening Annie.....Please put away your gun..:-) :-) :-)

Ronald...☺☺☺
