Error on page

Sometimes when I go to post an answer, I get an 'Error on page' message in the bottom left corner of my screen. Whats all that about ?

I've been having that problem for over a week, pjm.

I'm very lucky if I can post a reply at the first attempt. Usually I have to refresh the page a few times, fiddle with the address bar a bit, and then, eventually I might just get the reply panel to come up.

Quite often I think "well, I can't be bothered to answer that question any more" and just give up.

It's very annoying. This reply wasn't too bad - took about four refreshes.

I was third time lucky in posting an answer to this thread. I tend to click on the Back button, that takes me back to the threads i'm involved in. Then its anyones guess as to when i will be able to do it. By the time i've eventually got to the 'Type your answer here' bit, I've usually forgotten what my answer was going to be. An extremely annoying problem !

I have this problem too, intermittently mind.

I have to sign out, then sign back in, which then allows mt to post - very frustrating at times!

Yes, it's extremely annoying, smudge & pjm. You either forget what you wanted to say, or the moment is lost for that instant witty / flippant / sarcastic / drunken / insightful remark that you thought you wanted to make.

Far from upset � I was up for it !!  McDonalds was always a favourite subject of mine. I have only set foot in one of their �restaurants� once and was nearly arrested on that occasion !
