Please can we have a lost and found section where all ABers who have lost their avatars can say so on this special section and when the avatars are found, that person can be informed?
Or if the OP finds his/her avatar has come back, we can all be informed and then we can stop searching for it.
Thank You.

Do people just not bother reading?
Awwwww, how sweet.

Sorry Jan1957 I thought everybody would realise it was just a bit of light hearted banter.
Didn't think anyone would think it was a serious suggestion.
Do you not think you should have put it in CB then and not in suggestions which is sipposed to be for the Ed to improve the site?
Oops, supposed...

Yes I suppose it could have gone in chatterbank. Will remember that in future if I think of anymore humourous suggestions :-)

Like you though Jan, I am surprised that everytime I come on here someone is complaining about their avatar even though this problem has been going on for quite a while.perhaps you should put your question on a new thread?

///Do people just not bother reading?///
I read, but am lost when it comes to trying to understand the explanations which are being given for avatar alterations. You'll appreciate that from reading my thread which you have been given by Jan1957.

I have a Great avatar on my profile at the moment
never seen it before

The Ed has now been hit and has the Gravatar icon as his Avatar; but only in AB columns and not in his profile.

Hey Baldric....The Avatar in your Profile has already undergone, today, three changes. At one time you were the Gravatar 'G'.

missprim....I realise that your suggestion was a 'tongue in cheek' item. However, perhaps it should really be developed as a 'serious' item of fun. The Ed could make a weekly award to the person who spots the highest number of unwanted changes and draws the attention of an ABer concerned to the fact; before he/she realises so. On second thoughts, it might cause an overloading of AB with too many folk searching the columns. :-) :-).
