How long does it take to show up on your personal profile that a question has been removed? Or how long before they email you and give reasons, and can we defend ourselves...
My latest question disappeared soon after I posted the latest piece in the puzzle

don't think they're emailing us with reasons yet, it's still being worked on. But it should show up fairly quickly in your profile, though perhaps not instantly.

oh, just seen what you mean... as you'll have found out by now it's just been moved to Phrases and Sayings; it was certainly appropriate to Suggestions initially but once it was answered it turned into a (fascinating) wider discussion on words, so I guess that's fair. I think we can report a question as 'Under wrong topic' so it may have been moved at a user's suggestion, or by AB Ed.
