You must be aware that none of our lives are perfect and that many ABers have daily troubles and issues they live with and have to overcome. So why would you punish yourself when you suffer a rock in the road, and, in your case, fall off the wagon, when you have had long periods of doing so well?
Don't make falling off the wagon this time become a green light to succumb and do nothing about it. If it is a blip in a long run of sobriety, then accept that, and that you also are not perfect, but try to find that strength you have within you to get back on track.
An awful lot of people on this site believe in you as I am sure do your family.
I'm sure the only derogatory remarks (if any) will only come from newcomers. The rest of us know your history and a lot of us are also well aware of the curse of alcoholism which actually never goes away from its victims who have to constantly battle against it. Give it another try when you're ready, lots of Abers here to support and encourage you.
