Am I allowed to see into the inner workings ?

This may be the wrong place but is there a guide to the colour system and star ratings, also how to put links etc on ? can't see anything on the mainscreen !

colour: you're green for the first 2 weeks. You should be able to type in colour if you use Internet Explorer.


Links: just copy and paste (ctrl c, then ctrl v).


Star ratings: the option will appear next to answers to your questions (eg this one).

If you do post a link, make sure to type in a space immediately afterwards otherwise the site software makes a mess of things.
I don't understand any of this, though I am very new. Am I missing some instructions?

Cheers every one - the AB Ed has helped me out on this one as well
Drisgirl they only appear on your own questions, so only the one who starts the thread can rate the answers - were you looking at someone else's?
jno - you are so right.I just dont have the power of concentration at times - honestly and just go gung-ho into an answer.I have had the ability to rate my own responses before to my own post which I dont think is right - I have resisted awarding myself 3 stars tho:)
