Question in the wrong 'Topic'

Would it not be possible to have "transfer to " symbol, when you have entered your question in the wrong Topic ? This would save typing out again, but maybe that facility is there already and I don'tknow about it.

there is an option in the 'report this question' section for the reason of wrong section, just report it and the ed will move it across

trouble is that you can't report yourself...if you post a request under your question though people are usually helpful and will report you for incorrect category and get you moved

some things are unique to the person who posts a question - eg the Rate This Answer function. Perhaps a Transfer This Thread function could operate the same way?

Thanks for answers, my problem is I'm very simple minded and, because computing is for techy people, I know that somehow one of those clever folks will give me a quick way of getting there.

There is not an easier or better site on the internet and I am glad I'm part of it !
