Thanks * BEZ * but a sack of apples would be more use and I think you'll find that under the 1879 Scrumping Apples (Exemptions) Act you are allowed to "obtain from any source and without payment of any monies in respect of same, sufficient apples to relieve hunger of any animal in excess of 30 cwt." I can assure you that Brenda The Elephant satisfies that condition. Feel free to tell that to the manager of yir nearest Sainsbury's as you leave wi a barrow load of apples in the morning....
