can i suggest a section where all the pedantic old duffers can go and discuss full stops and spelling and all that other nonsense, i admit my spelling and use of grammar is quite bad at times but i really cant be bothered correcting either one, i would find it a waste of my very talented fingers to be worrying about where a comma goes :) so off you pop you richard Whiteley's and go read the yellow pages where you can correct to your hearts content :) ps love the anorak :)

I have an excellent command of the English language, but unfortunately the ole typing lets me down. In my brain everything is PERFECT but then comes the typing and ooops......... As long as there are no really bad swear words then all's right with the Old AB. (Blimey that took me hours - think I'll stick to pencils in future).
i agree with littleoldme a few missing commas and fullstops doesnt keep me awake at night let alone general spelling incorrectness because I imagine that most of us type so fast now that we rarely stop to check back on our spelling or even what we have written never mind the correction of grammar emphasising vocative plurals conjugating the verb or writing in the third person plural present indicative

So, if bob did start to write with articulation, perfect grammar and spelling, would his posts really make any more sense?

But people who write in text format YOU, Are summink else!
Finally, some folk after my own heart!
There's just one thing that bothers me at the moment. Is it now accepted to use there's as an abbreviation of there are? I see it everywhere. There's so many places I come across it! Is there? Oh dear. Oh and people who use the phrase you was, wasn't you? Help! Can't use quotation marks either! I also seem to have a problem with my overuse of the exclamation mark! One at a time, mind.
