Dear Ed, May I suggest you remove the Sexual Fantasy Dream's on B+S? Both mine and prospector's suggestion's that were suppported by fellow AB'r were removed so why not the sex chat? They blatently ignore the site rules whereas we don't. Is this fair Ed?

I guess it depends who reports them as I think if the ED doesnt notice them they will only get noticed if reported, so if you have a problem with any report them or ignore them :-)

Why should we ignore them 4getmenot? God knows enough of us made our feeling's clear over the weekend. I dont understand why innocent and well meaning birthday wishes get removed and our suggestions removed and ignored when "Dreams of Sexual Fantasie's " still remain! Im wondering if what Ed is going to do about VaginaCmen, will she/he be allowed to keep this username? It is,afterall breaching Site Rules.
I did say or ignore them, I didnt say you had to! If they annoy you that much then report them, if they get so many reports they get banned. Simple
I'm intrigued. Where are they then?
Incidentally, although I agree that lewd and obscene content is not appropriate, the rules to which you refer relate to all of us.

The Answerbank reserves the right to remove any post that does not relate to the topic being discussed or that we feel violate our Site Rules and Terms of Use. The role of the AnswerBank Editor is to maintain the quality of the website content. It is not to get involved in personal disputes between users.

Due to the high volume of posts, all editorial decisions are final, and discussion relating to the removal or editing of posts will not be entered into by the AB Editor.

The report facility is there for users to report posts that they, of their individual mind feel is offensive, or indeed in breach of the Site Rules. If you must lambaste a particular user or a particular thread, a more effective means would be either to report it yourself and hope that others feel the same as you, or to use the contact us facility.
Oct you can always put the words so much better than me, spot on :-)

Octavius, All this sexual chat started last friday on, need I say?,B+S. Do we really want to know who has the biggest penis and what they can do with it? Not to mention the "Oral Sex" thread which AB's were offering each other. Those of us who objected were met with the usual "Get a life, grow up,boring old fart's" etc. My suggestion to the ED was banned as was prospector's yet there are still sexual post's from saturday. I want to know if Ed is actually condoning sexual "Chat".. It's no good reporting if these posts are not going to be removed. We want the ED to reply to us,simple as that.
If posts are not removed, then I can only presume that not enough users have reported them to trigger the automatronic delete thingy that kicks in when a certain number of users report something. Just because you didn't like it and a few others - sorry but I can't recall any particular threads - doesn't mean you speak for the majority, or the editing team.

Even then, at the editors discretion, they may be permanently deleted or reinstated. So if you need to take issue, why not speak to the Ed off line through email, and continue to report posts that upset or offend you, and leave individuals to make up their own minds.

You and I may both agree that such chatter is obscene and even offensive, but as someone once said "one man's fun is another man's indecent exposure".
And this is on the home page.

In the same vain 45703 one of the posts by Ed on F&Q states.

"Take care when discussing mature topics. Keep in mind that under 18s view and contribute to the website. Posts that are sexually explicit will be removed."

Whilst I agree with daisy over the OTT (in my opinion) sexual posts on B&S, I really don't have her energy to take the stand both she and prospector have taken. I do the lazy approach and just ignore the question (?) altogether.
They could be genuine questions
Question Author
Ummm. Since when was you telling R*Y you'd like to give him a BJ genuine question?
Of course they could be ummmm, I'm not disputing that. I'm just stating the supposed rules with regards to content. From what I can make of aforementioned rules if they sexually oriented they shouldn't be asked- no matter how much you may want the answer to them.

Maybe the best place for those kind of questions would be on a more suitable (over 18's one?) forum?

At the end of the day I'm not all that bothered about the questions, I personally don't like them but I make he conscious effort to stay out of them, it's no biggy.
Hi B00, I'm a like you B00; I ignore questions I dont like :-) Im very open-minded so thats not many!! I missed the question "Sexual Fantasy Dream's" on B&S. I think its a great name for a band! As of my previous post, I was just pointing out the statement on the home page No matter how outrageous maybe it needs changing?
I answered your question Daisy. You asked about the sexual fantasy threads...You didn't say anything about the blow job threads!!!!
And I didn't say I would give him one...he asked...and I said ok...it was a joke....you know hehe haha
i started the post, it was just something to make some people smile, there was no explicit sexual content, the answers were less shocking than a"carry on film" and a lot more graphic sexually explicit content is found in the newspapers and on prime time, pre-watershed television, i think the post about sti is more graphic, but a genuine question all the same
just for the record - its vaginica C men, so technically contravenes no Site Rules, as they are not real words

perhaps an adult section should be added as a topic?

then, at least, anyone who gets offended cannot complain as they should not go in there...
