Thanks so very much for your support. Me and my bionic knee are getting to know each other a bit better, still having rather a lot of seriously painful arguments, but hey ... I'm here ... and with my RATTER's help we are steadily progressing! Have used the electric trolleys in two supermarkets so far and still haven't run anyone down ... DRAT! They are a great help though, as my new (knee) friend isn't too keen on walking very far, seeing as she is only 9 days old, only 5 days out of hospital and still in the learning phases of the 'ol walking malarkey. Much to my amazement I lost just over 1 st. in weight during my 5 days in hospital. Not bad, eh? I wonder if that had anything at all to do with the delightful hospital food? YUK, YUK, YUK!!! I'm not staying on the computer much yet, so forgive me if I don't answer things very quickly. Thank you all so much for your lovely thoughts though. They are much appreciated! Hugs to you all! :o)
RATTER, my darling man, stuff the ironing!!! The dishwasher just needs its buttons pushed (a bit like me, he he!) and you, my Love, are developing into a really good cook!!! Delicious Fisherman's Pie last night!!!!
Curly, you are lovely and so funny. I do appreciate your offer, but I would never, ever exchange my RATTER for anyone else. My heart is so at home in his and I can't see that ever changing. Besides, my 90 yr old Mum would never forgive me if I let my RATTER go! He has been cooking her her favorite dishes, bringing her her Sherry and hot water bottles etc etc and has well and truly won her heart as well. Sorry!
