Whilst some questions deserve to be pushed off the page, the uber-lingering top spot Q's seem to make the site a little higgledy-piggledy.

After about 10 minutes most questions get boring. Would this apear to be a reflection of the site itself in recent times? Dare I suggest that the pedestal hogging Q has a shorter lifespan?

Do the hoi polloi agree?

Gosh, I must be trapped in a time-warp then it feels so much longer.
don't see the point in keeping them at the top - it doesn't make you answer them more.

i would think most people go back through the questions until they see one they recognise, which means thats as far as the new questions go, so mixing them up can make this confusing.

i didn't look at a few topics for ages before i realised that the questions had been frozen, because whenever i clicked on the topic i would come to a familiar question and think there had been no new ones since.
it's in the March 15 blog, all is explained
having said that, the six-year-old anorexics are clinging to the top of the B&S heap very successfully while other questions pile up below them. Perhaps the Ed forgot her own promise on this occasion?
