Would it be possible to put answers to each particular crossword in blocks of their own? This would make AB so much easier to search, especially if one is late tackling the puzzle. Or would it be too complicated?

Do you really think that the AB ED has a clue about the enormous amount of crosswords there are are out there !

While people insist on posting random things like ..."help ..answers to 6d.. 8a" ..and no clue as to what publication let alone the date or title of the particular crossword or any letters or actual clues I wouldn't think it very feasible.

There must be myriads of crosswords out there ...they would need someone who is hot s**t on crosswords and knows exactly what is published when and where and by whom to be able to decipher it all.

please don't let them mess with Qand P the way they have with sport. It's fine as it is burnham as shaney says if people put which crossword they need the answers to even if you are late doing it I am sure you will be given the answers. BTW what you are suggesting would not be needed if the search box worked.

Thank you all. I guess that when one does a limited range of crosswords (Telegraph Sat and Sun GK and Herculis only) one loses sight of the enormous range. It's just that I often have to search back several days to find the answers I want, and am eternally grateful to the regulars who supply those answers.
