Its known that women dont really follow news stories or understand politics.

Aaah but there could be "sensitive" matters in Media and shopping too! What if The Men are discussing a Sun or Daily Mirror article in Media? Or maybe (god forbid) a Top Gear show? And what about buying screwdrivers or road maps in Shopping?
Women have no place on the AB. The chain locking them to the cooker shouldn't be long enough for them to reach the computer, anyway.
