Leaving AB For now

Dear Ed - My time is precious, and I'm wasting it wating for pages to turn. It is the slowest site I have encountered.
As a loyal and regular customer, it grieves me to leave, so I'll pop back in now and again to test it, but if it remains slow, I'll be logging off and going elsewhere.
Surely you can sort it out - today?

Well mother brewed some knock out reds.... the garden grape vine supplied... she also brewed liqueurs to curl your toes :)

I once brewed some bitter, (as a teen), and as it was maturing, the tops blew off and put holes in the ceiling tiles. Poor old Dad was so proud of his ceiling tiles!

Hiya Beryl, not really into 'hubble bubble toil and trouble', but my husband went through a phase of brewing and we had containers and jars bubbling away everywhere. Wouldn't have minded, but the end result wasn't exactly good beer or fine wine, so he gave it up, thank goodness!! We'll stick to Tescos in future. Having said that I know someone who makes wine from rose petals - and it's lovely. Do you dabble?

Considering.... but really I'd like my own grape vine and that is in the planning stage... ie: knock down the shed and get my large greenhouse put up and he can have a small shed ;D makes sense to me..... although his shed is turning more into an obsevatory lol

Did you really need to raise another thread on this? Do you not think, for one second, that there may have been enough threads on this subject already and the fact that you are threatening to leave the site, not for the first time, isn't going to make the slightest difference?

As for your inane ungodly remarks, I am afraid they only go to prove that though you speak as a Christian, your acts prove you are not a real one.

We used to brew our own back in my Saudi days. It was a bit of a necessity, you know dull the pain, drown the sorrows etc etc. But we suffered from lack of quality control procedures and inconsistency. One week we�d drink 20 pints and the only effect was numerous trips to the loo and a bad stomach the next day. Then the week after from a new batch we would be sozzled after half of glass of dark and the evening would last about 10 minutes!

Confession time - I noticed that when somebody posted a thread saying, "That's it! I'm leaving," loads of posts flew in, some saying, "Go on then, ****** off!" and some saying, "Oh pleeeeze don't go my hero you lovely person you," and a few just hum and say 'byeee', but, look at it this way, it is attention. So, as I wanted a bit of attention, any kind, nice stuff, smelly stuff, old second hand charity shop stuff, anything in fact, I gave in to temptation, and jumped on the, "I'll be leaving you now," bandwagon.
I think I'll leave again today, and tomorrow!
