MM & KM Links February 2008 [Week 4]

Goodness me, week four already and the last chance for King Fordward to bamboozle you all with his choice of words. So far he has been doing a lot of reminiscing and we'll have to wait until the morn's morn to know if this is still the case or whether he will be bringing us up to date. The leadership board has been in a state of flux all month, currently showing freebi2 at the top but closely chased by ladyalex, Dustybun, evsajo, Jools & sarumite. Will one of those gain the crown? Or could an outsider come good with multiple hits? Whatever happens, it promises to be an exciting finish.

Now I have some news for you all - crofter is coming back. He will be resume control of this game as soon as I announce the results on Sunday evening. Whether he will gain control over you lot remains to be seen, but you don't want to incur the wrath of crofter. To that end I am looking for volunteers to tidy up the shrubbery and remove all evidence of revelry and debauchery. We also need someone to organise things and someone to get you all going. I think I know just the person:- "Cooee Pauline, are you around tonight?".

As usual, the bonus points will be there for the taking as you tumble sleepy-eyed from the shrubbery at 9:00 am tomorrow and remember that King Fordward's thread will be opened by me, gen2 at about 8.45 in the morning. The MM Link Game should then be officially launched when the four words to be linked are posted at 9.00am. Then it is up to yourselves.

The international version of this same game is called KM Links and kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am! Look out for seekeerz from Oz who provides the entertainment, refreshments and rule of law when dealing with that parallel game. In this case, the choice of words and their links are out of our control. They are the grey words chosen by Kate Mepham in her Crosswords in the Daily Telegraph on Saturday and Monday!

Us boys are quite happy to continue with the revelry amongst all this clutter, the tinnies still taste the same ... so if you want it tidy ~ carry on girls, but don't disturb our drinking!!

What worries me about crofter taking over the housekeeping/horticultural activities is if crofter is a member of the Wee Free.

If so, there would be a stampede to southern, more intemperate and probably more incontinent, climes!

AND forget submitting an answer on a Sunday!

The Wee Free, as they are known, north of the border are a rather more strict (or extremely, depending on your point of view) branch of the Presbyterian church.

Just having had a re-read of gen2's intro to this week's festivities, and having thought through, and having had a re-read through of all the contributions from the shrubbery over many past weeks, months and a couple of years it seems that whilst there is plenty of evidence of revelry there seems to be none of debauchery.

sarumite, do you think we need to advance purposefully, clutching headache pills?

Hello all, have just posted a message but it has gone!!!! Sorry I am late but have been doing my ironing and decided i had to finish it before I came on here. I am really tired now so I will probably have a reasonably early night.
I think the men should tidy up as they usually make the mess!!!!

Hi Kay...not too bad...had an eventful week!!

Fed up arguing with TOYOTA - RRG _ STOCKPORT..about my new car..delivered with a fault..sent in to get repaired and sent back to me filthy and scratched!!!...am SO angry...I want the world to know to avoid TOYOTA- RRG _ STOCKPORT!!
