Links open in new window

Nice improvement for submitting answers and questions but it would be handy if, when clicking on a link in an answer, it opens in a new window.

I think that is set by your internet browser.

My browser does open links in a new window..........except links created in the new style answer box in answer bank.

 

Links that I have created in answers myself (using html) open in a new window. The new style links do not. Cheers anyhow.

Hold down shift & click (works in most mainstream browsers)

Or right click on the link.....

• there is an option 'Open in new window'.....
• left click on the option and hey presto.....
• 'link open in new window' !!!!

Yes I can do that. I shouldn't have to though - a link should open in a new window with a single click - if desired.
