My question is - in the nicest possible manner - is that does AB check who's been on line or not?...because I received a mail today saying that I had not been on line recently, even though I was as recently as this weekend and not long before that either...smile.

I also received "why not come back?" e-mail. Only away for w.e.
I got one too and I am on every day. Have sent the techies a protest e-mail. Think they are losing the plot.

Yeah, antlad and patsyann - and whoever else gets such a mail - let's all rise up and "demand" that the AB regime show themselves...just to see if they're human, eh?...smile...c'mon AB guys, it's now up to you.
hi woodelf,

I got an email too and I was on here on Sunday! Very strange.
Hope you are well, smile.

OK AB, have you been on line recently?...smile!
I have had one two days running, what a farce.I am on daily.Don't like the idea of them showing user names and passwords. It's time they got their act together.
i live above a star
I've had two so far this week and I am not happy about my user name and password being shown.
I had one too (and I'm on every day) and I too was wondering about the password showing - does the fact that I can read it in clear-text in an email addressed to me also mean that anyone at AB Towers can read it? ...that's what I was wondering. Anyone know?
I had one a couple of months ago, wasn't even a member then.

OK AB, surely you can see now that answers need to be given, especially towards the area of anonymity for all AB users.

So noknow, does that mean you're unaffected by all this...above your star?
hey woody :) well i got an email to an email address which had been banned from AB. How silly is that lol
I have received two, and am on here sometime in evey day. This e-mail has been received by most regular Abers, and appears to be a computer generated random mailing. The first one didn't have the user name and password displayed, but the second one this morning did.
I'm confused too...

Why is there a question of anonomity? Surely no one's naive enough to believe that the powers that be here don't know our passwords anyway?

And if they're sending the emails to you alone- who else is going to see them?
also they can probably just log into your emails using the same password!!!
Zakerly ;-)
I got one Sunday night, had only been on that morning answering questions!
*dons cloak and dagger* B00 sending info over email is never secure.
Well yeah, guess that's true Swedey (helloooo, you well by the way?) but if someone was going through my emails just to get at my AB password, then I really feel sorry for 'em, they must be terribly bored sifting through the spam I constantly get!

Heck, if someone wants my AB password that much, I'll save 'em the pain and just tell them it.
tell me please BOO
