I do agree with you squarebear but there is another alternative which I use, ignore them!

How about listing all the catagories separately rather than siting some as sub-categories? Someone said a few days ago that they weren't even aware that some subjects are listed.

Categories like Politics and Current Affairs get little used because:

1. A lot of people don't know they exist - and

2. Even if they do know they exist, they post their questions under the main heading of News because they know their posts will be missed in the sub-categories.

not a bad idea Swede, we'll look into it. Or add it to the wishlist at least!

jojojo - the layout is roughly the same, it is a slightly higher resolution. we've also tidied it up a bit! A few less fiddly bits, smoother lines etc.

I'm afraid we cannot go any further into the fine-details of G.NOME technology as it is a classified project.

I can however say that it is a joint venture between the U.S. Airforce, the European Space Agency and The Answerbank.

perhaps you could have a answerbank section were you put all the reported questions and answers and aber's could continue their debate without restriction, a kinda like no holds barred section that'd be very interesting!

will the new AB address the time out issue? Ie when you click on questions I have answered it tries to retrieve them all and times out. It really only needs to get a max of the last 100 for example. Also when is the eta of the new AB?
