Morning all,

Another day of fixing ahead. We've done lots of things behind the scenes to speed up the site, I hope you can see some of the differences. We've also done a bit of colouring in for original posters.

We will fix the problem of taking you back to the homepage after submitting a question.

The Clock will be fixed today.

We will also review latest posts - it should not show the latest poster on a question. The issue everyone seems to have is the lack of a refresh button and it the way it doesn't immediately show your post. Is this correct?

Anything else we can do to make your life easier?

Can we please go back to choosing how we see ' YouTube' clips - not urgent, of course, but my big worry is that I'll be scrolling down happily and come across something terrifying - i.e Robbie Williams - and throw something through my monitor !
On a more serious note; people have in the past posted some clips that I'm sure nobody wants to be looking at while they're having their morning coffee.

oooo, guess I better getting going on a wireless networking article then, I get fed up sometimes of answering all the "I can't connect to my wireless" questions, be nice to just send them to read an article!

New problem...well it is for me
Every time I post an answer I'm whooshed back to the front page when I submit ...the answer appears, I just have to trundle back to the category I was in :o(

That would be really good Chuck! Obviously you'd only be credited as your Username currently, but still, sending someone to your own AnswerBank Editor Approved Article will probably get you even more Kudos than you have heaped on you currently.

The refresh button, we want that just for recent posts? Or a whole page refresh button on the page somewhere?

Umm, can you try pressing ctrl+F5 and then posting a question?

The WhooshMachine4000 will be switched off as soon as we work out which plug the wires lead to!

Coffee and Buns in the post B00. Did you know there is such as a thing as a cream-tea by post? I spotted them on offer all around Cornwall, a nice idea but I am not sure if waiting for next day delivery is worth it!

The "something canary" in St.Ives, Cornwall. Yellow Canary maybe? It may be a chain?

It was a superb idea, I just dont know If I want to see my postman fold/squeeze/snap a cream tea to fit through the letterbox...

Worth a Go Ummm! Someone just thew that out as a possible short term solution. Apparently not!

Ed: two things that have gone wrong just since yesterday.

If you submit a post it then takes you to the homepage rather than the page you were submitting to.

The 'Questions I Answered' archive isn't working. If you click on a page number you get 'The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded.'

This was all working fine 24 hours ago. What have you done to it?

Good morning ED.
I come on here early in the morning before I go to work. And while im trying to clock in,me toast is on fire in the kitchen.Is it possible to have a toast timer in the bottom left hand corner please with a loud alarm bell..or a loud voice shouting...(((your toast is now done))))Ta very muchly.(:O)

Do you know what Vinny, I think we could have one of them you know. Maybe not this month, I'll put it on the wishlist.

Speaking of the longer term wishlist, what do people want/need? We like the idea of an AnswerBank toolbar which shows you a recent posts feed and alerts you when your questions are answered. How do we feel about this?
