Another day of fixing ahead. We've done lots of things behind the scenes to speed up the site, I hope you can see some of the differences. We've also done a bit of colouring in for original posters.
We will fix the problem of taking you back to the homepage after submitting a question.
The Clock will be fixed today.
We will also review latest posts - it should not show the latest poster on a question. The issue everyone seems to have is the lack of a refresh button and it the way it doesn't immediately show your post. Is this correct?
Morning Ed & all - I didn't tune in yesterday, but glad to see the Question Author is now highlighted, ta!
1. It'll be nice when the 'Latest Posts' on the right are working as they used to.
2. The last poster at the top of threads - instead of having to scroll down.
3. Not sure if it's been mentioned again (as I haven't read back yet), but a line between each post would be most helpful & easier on the eye & brain! (Anything helps at my age)!
The Search facility is one of the first things that needs to be addressed. It is certainly not working properly and if AB is urging people to search to see if a question has already been asked, then not only should ALL relevant threads be shown, but the LATEST ones should surely appear first.
The new poll over there > ed.... well you can just keep clicking and submitting vote after vote after vote if you want (actually it's handy for me as I use lots of different screen resolutions.)
I suppose we have all gotton used to the refresh button on the recent posts, but also the last post replied to being shown rather than the last post created, although if a post has been created that should show up as well.
like it used to be really, thats all we want I think
and I was about to say now the poll has gone totally......... your just trying to make me look like the crazy person that sits in the corner seeing imaginary polls now aren't you :)
