this is a question and answer site above all else, the chatter and internal politics is secondary. from a Q&A perspective the site has improved 100%

Naz.....not in my experience....the obvious ones stand out and are dealt with efficiently by the team.
The discontent (it being only by a few) centres around the grey areas of contentious debate, in which in my opinion, the debate should be left to run e.g Naomi v Andy and that would eventually have happened. Also the intrusion of the Ed staff which is welcomed by the majority........but not by a vociferous minority ..including me.

of course arguments can be entertaining but if you think about it, a lot of these arguments tend to get personal and lots of old stuff gets dragged up, then years later that information is still accessible and easily searchable, available to everyone and regularly brought up in further disputes.

cazz......LOL...I will be honest.....I have NEVER taken kindly to being told what to do.
I am a lousy follower and luckily throughout my life I have never had to be a follower.
I have been banned (I think).....not sure what all that crap meant....I published a picture in answer to a question on vaginal cysts but to be clever, I said "Me on holiday"
Bang that was me gone, but got back with another name.

People change - they evolve-they deal with extenuating issues better -its life...cant see why for talks sake anything I may have posted years back in a bleak time should have to be dragged up.I cut slack with anyone here or anywhere -I dont stand in judgement. Why should it be different here?
I dont see it as towing the line -i see it as coming out the other side.Different strokes for different folks. Not fond of the raking over the coals though.
Who want to come onto a forum which doesnt have 'spiky' characters.I wouldnt -having said that I find AB also to be a very caring site when the chips are down.
I think it AB has struck a good balance !

I don't have a problem with Ed starting threads on opinion polls or surveys because I have the choice to contribute or not. What gets up my fundamental orifice is when Ed joins a thread and offers opinion or criticism of other posts, and by virtue of his omnipotent status cannot truly be challenged. In my view Ed should stick to troll hunting and disposal and getting on with knitting condoms.
