Hello ! ( Please read my other 2 posts regarding suspension awaiting investigation)
I was suspended from 26/01/11 to 27/02/11 due to misapropriation of company goods.
I was suspended on full pay.
Today i went to my 2nd investigating meeting and they have decided not to take any action further because it passed more than a month and it would be an unfair desmissal.
However this will be taken in account in the eventuallity of a future similar situation.
I understood everything and today i reinstated my work at a normal shift. I will take this suspension as payed holidays. I was not expecting this at all, actualy i went there prepared for the worse. Today i even talked to the security guard and he even admitted there was no reason for all this and that i would have payed the newspaper.
But you know tesco rulezzz. They offered me 46 holiday pay this year which was good. : ) : ) i should be suspended more times.

I don't know you and don't know if this is the only time that you have breached the rules of Tesco. But if it is a one-off issue they really were heavy handed in their approach. They could have punished you for the incident within a much shorter period of time.
