Society, questions on computers and mechanics can't really be compared with questions about health. If you get a wrong answer and your computer fails it's not really the end of the world. It could be if you take the wrong advice about a health problem ;o)

Aberrant - if you read back my clear point was that there is far more than just medical issues that need covering - and shi-ite I get shot down for proposing an all embracing disclaimer, or rather the skeleton of one, to go on the 'top' of the site and avoid dragginmg red tape down into the depths of the chat, and hence pollute its value. Never mind the principles of free speech but that is being utopian and idealistic in today's moribund society.

And then I get this crap from Anne and she hasn't got an ounce of decency to retract and/or say, "sorry, I overstepped the mark" (and we all do that from time to time).; Its been over 30 minutes now and I am still mad at her accusatory and demenaing tone. And I do not often harbour grudges; she risks this becoming one and in losing any respect I had/have for her views.

Lottie, the majority on here who ask Sqad questions visit their GP or some related professional. Most likely Sqad words are never 'their' final answer or means of help.

I think perhaps Anne meant to put a full stop after the word sqad DT. She has made two separate statements.

Well I am fecking off out of here to bed - totally disrespectful on anne's part; my contribution about a general over-rider for the site and its position at the site entry and as an occasional reminder was made in good faith. I do not expect it to be dismissed in the manner it was and, quite frankly, my opinion of Ms. Anne Asquith has been seriously devalued.

ummmm. It doesn't help to hound Anne though about hounding Sqad. Best left alone. I don't know who Anne was or even if she was someone before, but this thread was not about Sqad and I think you should respect that.
