Hilarious reading as the second part of his biography and also very touching at times, portraying his work with very sick children and then as a person who holds a family together until Foster parents are found, a worthwhile read imo

Yes Bobbi he has had a colourful life and he enjoys it to the limit doesn't he ??! Bet he makes a great Grandad.

he never bonded for a good while with his daughter but I think they are very close now, on his show he also appears to love animals, having recently adopted a young goat
Him and his daughter are extremely close now and yes he adores animals, takes in all kinds of strays on his farm and loves his dogs. Great man all round. I'm off to watch the link Quassia did for me now on Will Young....

I thought I'd posted a comment on this thread but it must be in cyberspace somewhere! - Thanks for the tip about this book - will look out for it - I've always like P O G - as you say, he seems a really genuine, nice bloke.
