would like to download some - where to start? have done websearches but they seem to differ on what the first one is

This is the order to read them in .
Look at the publishing dates in brackets .
They were issued a bit back to front here due to having to be translated .
The last one ,An event in Autumn ,is just a short story though not a follow on in the series .

You're welcome .Hope you enjoy them as much as I did .Sadly I don't think there will be any more as in the last one he gets Alzheimers plus the fact that Henning Mankell is now seriously ill .

If you get round to it ,his other novels are good, especially Kennedy's Brain and The Man from Beijing.
Return of the Dancing Master is good too, another detective,Lindman .
Before the Frost features Wallander as well although it's principally about his daughter .
