I accidently left new packet of frozen McCain chips out in warm room when I took them out to put something else in its place, the at least 3 hours later, realised I forgit to replace them in freezer. All the chips felt warm & soggy. Should I cook them or throw them? I did put them in the fridge after.

Just me - but I would put them back in the freezer and use them as originally intended.

They will be mushy but not a risk to health.  I would cook them in the oven and if necessary finish them off in a frying pan to crisp them up.  They may not look like chips but they'd be a 'different' sort of accompaniment

Thanks. I put them in fridge as I was going to use them a bit later for dinner with fish. I always put them in oven anyway. Hope they'll be edible! I'll let you know. 😊

Stick them back in the freezer.

Its a different ball game if its something that contains meat or fish.

I'd eat them, but if you are worried, then don't rely on AB doctors.
