Forgotten book title!

Sorry, bit vague this one! I lent a book to a friend ages ago, and never got it back (grrr) - and I have a sudden urge to read it again, because I seem to remember it was really good. I thought it was called something like 'Box 182' but nothing comes up on Google, and I think the author was Alex someone, although I could be wrong. A man writes a lonely hearts ad, and I remember he gets a reply from a rather elderly woman, who keeps sending him letters to his PO Box number, and there was a really funny letter about her holiday in Dawlish! It had a black cover with pink lettering on, and it's driving me mad that I can't find it - does this sound familar to anyone? Please!! Thank you!

Hello, It's called Box132 by Alex Shearer. It has a black cover and a pink lipstick kiss forms the middle of the 'O'.
