Can anyone help on this one?
When I was young (long time ago now), I had a book of tales from other countries. I can't remember much about it but I do remember one story from Russia that really stuck in my head - it said that 'Peter slept on top of the stove'. This reallly puzzled me, as to me, a stove was one scarily hot place. Of course, I didn't know then that it was a Russian tiled stove, and I've since seen lots of these in Eastern Europe, so I have a bit more sense now.
Would anyone know the name of the story? I would just love to get my hands on it and reacreate the magic of al those years ago.
Many thanks.

No,Builder, it wasn't. However, the site is fascinating. I have a large collection of legends and fairy tales in Russian (language) but the one I'm looking for is not there either.
Will keep trying.
Thanks so much.
