Can anybody tell me what this means or at least suggest what language it might be?

It is on a poster I bought from a market years ago and I am interested in knowing if it has a meaning, or perhaps its just a random jumble of letters.

thanks

Thanks In A Pickle, I have found t-shirts on a website but they don't have a translation. I think there may be a Celtic connection.

I think it is just an unintelligible jumble of letters to catch attention. It supposedly means "f*** off"

In A Pickle's weblink didn't work because the words "f**** off" were edited in the web address.

Go to Google and key in "eiicy ose pojropp" (note that it's "pojropp" rather than polr opp") and you will find the weblink.

The J is back to front. This is important.

LOOK AT THE T-SHIRT!!!

The phrase is printed in 2 lines, and you need to fold it top to bottom like in MAD magazine. Hey Presto.

(Top halves of first letters joined to bottom halves of second letters)

Wow! ann_h! That is great! It's so obvious now that you've pointed it out. I'm tempted to buy a tee-shirt and wear it in front of some people I know with the smug satisfaction that they will have no idea what it means.

thanks ann_h !

I feel pretty stupid now as it is so obvious!! And there's me thinking it had a Celtic connection.... mysterious language indeed!!

Revshirls - don't rush out and buy one because half the world knows what is means - here in Ibiza there was a famous - bar who used this on all their t-shirts in the '80s and everyone was wearing them - they're old hat now.
Maybe old hat in Ibiza, netibiza - but probably not in my congregation here in Sweden - a new kind of blessing maybe :)
It's a print on T-Shirts when folded half over top of other it reads F*CK OFF.
its not a ******* language.
if you fold the poster it says "**** off,"
I have a shirt that says the same thing.
Greek/Latin: For Honor and Glory; Commonly used in Greek Life Slogan.

I know this s a very old posting. I just saw this eiisy oce phrase for the first time. I know this in a different way, EIIGY POCR OFF, which changes to F#CK OFF when dots are connected on a t-shirt. I owned one f these during the 80's and now make them. I put a funny YouTube link as a demo, and ths s where they are listed: https://www.etsy.com/search?q=Eiigy&view_type=gallery&ship_to=US I hope someone see's this and enjoys!
