I have an original painting - either African, Maori, Aborigine - a naive art form. With it is an explanation using the following words and translations.

Kaikoso - Cockle
Vasu - Clam
Cawaki -Sea Anemone
Nama - Seaweed

Please can anyone tell me what language this is as it may then tell where the painting is from. Thanks

googling "Kaikoso" seems to bring up sites relating to Fiji

It seems to be Fijian Jacks10 as those words are used there

Thank you so much - must be Fiji - went there many years ago and when I unearthed this painting - still in tube couldnt for the life of me think where it had come from!! Will get it framed before I forget!
