Hazel Dormouse
0 Answers
I have some old coconut shells that where previously filled with a fat and birdseed mix, now that the birds have cleaned them out, I thought they might be useful for dormice to use.
The openings are approx 2 inches (5cm) wide. there is some hazel coppice close to me, where I've been thinking of putting them. Do they need any nesting material to get them started or just leave it to them ?.
Much obliged for any advice
