You see, I get moaned at for not being on, then I come back on with a questy and no-one answers - am I to play with ghosts or what?....ghosts would be preferable to whats!

It simply proves that you're far too intellectual for us mere plebs, Woodelf. Most of us have never heard of Jo Nesbø or Harry Hole!

When I first saw your question I did google to find out some information about him. Wikipedia was quite useful:

Things like 'alcoholic', 'repeated conflict with his superiors and some colleagues', and 'brilliant detective' suggested to me that perhaps I should take the role myself ;-)

To be honest I've never read any of Jo Nesbo's books, think I do have one somewhere just never read it yet.

Who would I like to see on my tv? I've got a thing for Colin Firth & Hugh Grant after watching love actually the other night, first time I've watched it, fab film. So I would have to go with one of them. :)

I've read all the Nesbo/Hole books - I'd like someone relatively unknown to play him - I've got my own idea of what he looks like and don't want it 'shaped' by a well known actor's face.
