A Time To Believe.

Taking a wee rest from tidying (decluttering) a cupboard where I found a plaque with these words.
A Time To Believe.
To believe is to know that every day is a new beginning.
It is to trust that miracles happen, and dreams really do come true.
To believe is to see angels dancing among the clouds,to know the wonder of a stardust sky and the wisdom of the man in the moon.
To believe is to embrace the value of a nurturing heart, the innocence of a child's eyes and the beauty of an aging hand,for it is through their teachings we learn how to love.
To believe is to find the strength and courage that lives within us when it is time to pick up the pieces and begin again.
To believe is to know we are never alone, that life is a gift and this is our time to cherish it.
To believe is to know that wonderful surprises are just waiting to happen, and all our hopes and dreams are within reach....if only we believe.

Cupes, you believe what you want to, I'm not mad keen on anyone stamping on anyone's beliefs if they have them.

I believe that life holds many treasures and sometimes in the hurly burly of life, we miss them.

We should all try to make time to just 'be' and wonder at all we have around us, even when times are hard.

Thank you for sharing that - last night I too began to clear a cupboard, it began as a methodical almost office type task until I found personal mementoes and paused for thought.

That is lovely quinie, I still have a belief in something. Hopefully it will come good soon. The bungalow that we'd set our hearts on buying has been sold so we are looking for another, I keep thinking that no other would do it was perfect, so I have to believe that wonderful surprises ar waiting to happen. It must be a great comfort to be able to go about with such starry-eyed faith - personally I'd rather not get shafted as a result by those who use such gullibility to exploit people for their own selfish ends. E.g. Wm Hill, Camelot, Archbishops, The Pope, George Osborne, Ladbrokes, Wonga.com, etc etc etc.
