Can anybody tell me where I might be able to obtain 26 small, round, tin bowls, for use in a new production of Oliver!, please?

I've tried the shops, IKEA (they have stainless steel ones at 2 a pop - no thanks!), charity shops et al, but with no success.

Thanks!

Try finding some cheap plastic bowls or similar from the shop and spray paint them dark grey/black (you don't want them looking too new)

No-one will know the difference from a distance.

try places like Indian Food shops, they sell things like Balti dishes which you could distress if they look too new. Or could you maybe cut the bottoms off of things like plastic 2L coke and lemonade bottles or make some out of papier mache, but they wont have a tinny sound if you need them to make a noise at all.
Have you tried a camping shop? They tend to do tin plates so you might be in luck.
